I am an amateur web designer and am working with WordPress to bring this travel site to you. I’m real. I’m honest. I’m me. But just who am I?
My name is Sean Weisbrot and I currently live in Wuhan, China teaching English to children and I travel and write in my free time. I was born in Miami, Florida and graduated from the University of Florida in 2008 with a degree in Psychology. What I love most about traveling and living as an expat is observing how people survive outside of their comfort zone. I take a special interest in writing about this because I feel it’s something important that most people don’t think about.
I speak German as a second language and studied in Salzburg, Austria in the summer of 2005. While there I lived with a host family and traveled through Germany, Switzerland, and Italy. In December 2006, I went on a two week tour with my brother to Israel. In August 2008 I went to Thailand, and I am leaving China for a one month holiday in Australia in December 2009.
Besides traveling I’m very interested in computers, playing the guitar, salsa dancing, rock climbing, self-improvement, foreign language/cultures, and most importantly Psychology. I got into computers as a child and I’ve since learned the ins and outs of how they work and have built several of my own. I’ve played guitar for almost 9 years and began salsa dancing in 2006 (I’ve even done two performances)!
