It Gets Weirder

Author: Tomorrow will be my 3rd day in the series of 13 straight. I teach 7 hours on Thursday, and 5 hours every day until the 5th of August, when I teach 10 hours. I then teach 5 hours a day for the next 5 days. After one day of reprieve, followed by 3 more days of teaching, I’ll have a week off, and finally my 18 day trip to Thailand!
In other news, I went to break up with Rita tonight, only to hear some disturbing things. She got back with her ex this past week but never bothered to tell me. I’m not upset because I was going to break up with her, but technically she cheated on me. This just makes my life easier! There are so many beautiful girls here with great down to earth personalities, so I’m sure I’ll find another one soon!

What I miss
Day 19 of the great human experiment has proven successful. I have completed the health check at a pricey 525rmb ($90), and am well on my way (well… at the chinese pace) to becoming a legal resident of China. Tonight I will be going to Hankou to check out a salsa club with some aussie mates, and tomorrow I will look at 4 or 5 apartments and hopefully find one suitable to live in.
After having been here for almost two weeks, here is a list of things I miss about America:
- Beavis
- Blonde girls
- Blue sky
- Being able to order my own food
- Oh yeah, and all my friends and family
And here is a list of things I love about China:
- everything is so damn cheap
- everyone loves the white man
- my girlfriend takes good care of me
