10 Days to Go

Author: I am officially 10 days away from my 2 year mark in China, and I don’t think there is a better way to celebrate that mark than by getting the hell out for a very long and well deserved vacation in the USA! These two years have been insanely full of ups, downs, and run-arounds. I’ve traveled to 5 countries (including China) for a total of 83 days (almost 3 months). I will have a meeting on Tuesday with my school about whether or not they’ll give me a job for the next year. I’ve got about a 50% chance of them saying yes. Even if they don’t say yes, I have back up options which should provide me a better salary once I return!
I haven’t been sleeping well lately because of the excitement that each new day brings as I’m one day closer to going home to a beautiful puppy, clean air, civilized people, cars, beaches, pools, air conditioning, facebook, youtube, picasa, twitter, and fatty foods!
